| By Rev. Sam Minder Horror Story |
| This one is sort of a horror story. I officiated at a wedding that was kind of short notice. The whole thing had been put together quickly and on a small budget. This wasn't the problem. The problem was that the room the wedding was in was on a ship and the room was a little crowded. The photography (my least favorite photographer) was moving to take a picture of the bride and groom at the head table. He was standing by the cake when it mysteriously fell over! Everyone was horrified, especially the bride. The photographer (who still had the frosting on his jacket) looked at it like it was such a shame that 'someone' had knocked over the cake. Didn't apologize, didn't take responsibility, offered no compensation to the bride and groom. He just went on as if nothing happened. Fortunately, the person who made the cake had the foresight to bring her cake-decorating stuff so she was able to do some repairs. Moral of the story: Stay away from the cake! -- Rev.
